INTRODUCTION
Directorate of Employment is running various schemes/initiatives for creating platform to provide job opportunities to General Public under Govt. of NCT of Delhi as under
ONLINE EMPLOYMENT PORTAL Data Centre, Shahdara assists the Job Seekers registered on the online Employment Portal https://onlineemploymentportal.delhi.gov.in/ in providing Employment Opportunities by sponsoring the names of the eligible Job Seekers against the vacancies requisitioned on the portal by the Employer.
JOB FAIRS has been started by the department w.e.f. 2015 and up to January, 2019, the department has held 10 Job Fairs including Mega Job Fairs in order to bring the employers and the Job aspirants on a common platform to fulfill their mutual requirements.
ROZGAR BAZAR PORTAL has been launched during Covid Pandemic on 27-07-2020 duly inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister, GNCTD to bring the Employers/Jobseekers on a common platform so that they can fulfill their mutual requirements i.e. vacancy/ gainful employment.
MODEL CAREER CENTRE (MCC) under NCS project of Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour had been started under Dte. of Employment by transforming the District Employment Exchange, South with focus on career counseling/guidance of job seekers to bridge the gap between the demands of vacancy to the supply of the jobseekers.
